Inflation rate noong Enero, bumagal sa 2.8%

Patuloy ang pagbagal ng inflation o pagtaas ng presyo ng mga produkto at serbisyo sa bansa.

Ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority, bumaba ang inflation rate sa 2.8% noong Enero, mula sa 3.9% noong December 2023. 

Nakaambag rito ang paggalaw sa presyo ng food and non-alcoholic beverages na bumagal sa 3.5%, gayundin ang presyo ng gulay tulad ng sibuyas, maging ang isda, at karne kabilang ang manok.

Sinabi ng Presidential Communications Office na ito ang pinakamababang naitalang inflation rate ng psa simula noong October 2020.
