Ito sa maikli ang deskripsyon ng pitong bagong batas na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. nitong Disyembre 20, na naglalayug palawakin at pahusayin ang kapasidad ng pitong higher education institutions (HEIs) sa bansa.

Nilagdaan ng Pangulo ang batas na lumilikha sa College of Medicine, Benguet State University sa La Trinidad, Benguet, sa ilalim ng Republic Act (R.A.) No. 11970. Ganoon din sa College of Medicine, Southern Luzon State University sa Lucban, Quezon, R.A. No. 11971.

Sa ilalim ng bagong HEIs laws, maaari nang mag-alok ng Doctor of Medicine Program, pati na Integrated Liberal Arts and Medicine Program ang dalawang nabanggit na institusyon para makapag-develop ng mga bagong doktor ng bayan na magpapalakas sa ating sistema nang pangangalagang-medikal.

Nilagdaan din ni Marcos ang RA No. 11973, na lumilikha sa Bicol University-College of Veterinary Medicine in Ligao City, Albay para makapag-prodyus ng mga bagong grupo ng professional veterinary physicians na may kasanayan sa prevention, diagnosis, treatment, at pag-kontrol ng mga sakit sa hayop sa lupa at maging sa karagatan.

Samantala, ang Bagac Extension Campus ng Bataan Peninsula State University, Bagac, Bataan, ay isa nang regular na campus na tatawaging BPSU-Bagac Campus.”

Sa ilalim ng RA No. 11968, nai-convert na rin ang San Isidro Satellite campus ng Leyte Normal University (LNU), San Isidro, Leyte bilang isang regular campus, na tatawaging “LNU-San Isidro Campus.”
