SUPALPAL diumano sa MTRCB si “Budots King” Senador Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. dahil
sa statement nito tungkol sa “no work, no pay” issue sa staff ng sinuspinding It’s Showtime TV
program.


“Sabi ni Revilla, dapat ay tiningnan maigi ng MTRCB (Movies and Television Review and
Classification Board) itong kanilang desisyon.

Kasi ang nangyari, ang maapektuhan dito ang mga trabahador, ang mga maliliit na manggagawa na “no work, no pay”. O kapag wala raw trabaho, magugutom daw ito, mawawalan nang panggastos,” saad ni Batang Maynia to its vlogger nitong Linggo.


Dagdag pa niya na malayo pa naman diumano ang eleksyon, pero umeepal na si Revilla, at
self-interest lang iyan.


Dapat daw ang problema ay dinadala ng ABS-CBN at ni Vice Ganda, na siyang may
responsibilidad sa pagkakasuspindi ng It’s Showtime. Dapat din daw na sila ang sitahin ni
Revilla, at hindi at MTRCB na ginagawa lang ang kanilang trabaho.

Samantala, sa official statement ng MTRCB na inilabas nitong Okt. 1, sinabi nila na magkaiba
ang issue nang suspension at contractualization. Mahigit 10 taon na ang It’s Showtime sa ere,
na ipinalalabas anim na beses bawat linggo, kaya, dapat, naging regular na ang staff nito.

Mas mabigat na isyu ang contractualization kaysa 12 araw na suspension, na ginawa ng ahensya
dahil ito raw ang kanilang mandato.


Nagpahayag din ng empatiya ang MTRCB sa staff na pansamantalang mawawalan ng trabaho
dahil sa suspension order, pero kailangang daw nilang ipatupad ang batas.


Sinabi pa ng vlogger na kung naging regular employees daw ang staff ng It’s Showtime,
patuloy pa rin silang tatanggap ng sahod kahit suspindido na ang programa.
