THE Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has updated its Offline eBIRForms Package to make it easier for qualified micro taxpayers to avail themselves of the government’s One-Time Abatement Program.

Under Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 104-2026, the BIR released Offline eBIRForms Package Version 7.9.6.2, which includes new Alphanumeric Tax Codes (ATCs) for individual and corporate micro taxpayers covered by the program.

The update also introduces a dedicated Tax Type Code for Micro Taxpayer Abatement in BIR Form No. 0605, simplifying the filing process for eligible taxpayers.

BIR Commissioner Charlito Martin R. Mendoza urged qualified micro taxpayers to take advantage of the program before the December 31, 2026 deadline.

The program allows qualified micro taxpayers with covered total basic tax liabilities and/or penalties of up to ₱80,000 per taxable year to settle their obligations through a ₱5,000 abatement fee per taxable year, subject to the requirements under Revenue Regulations No. 4-2026.

“With the updated eBIRForms package, we are making the process easier and more convenient so taxpayers can settle their covered liabilities and return to regular compliance,” Mendoza said.

Aside from the new codes, Version 7.9.6.2 also contains system corrections for selected BIR forms.

The latest Offline eBIRForms Package is available for download through the BIR website.
