Senior citizens sa Navotas City, makakatanggap ng ₱1,000 birthday gift

Makakatanggap na ang rehistradong senior citizens sa Navotas City ng ₱1,000 birthday gift simula ngayong taon.

Ito’y ayon kay Mayor John Rey Tiangco, alinsunod sa Navotas City Ordinance No. 2023-44 o ang “Amended Birthday Cash Gift to Senior Citizens.”

“We acknowledge the invaluable contribution of our senior citizens to the progress of our city. We hope to support them in fully enjoying their twilight years even through this small gift,” ayon sa alkalde.

Kwalipikado sa programa ang mga senior citizen na rehistradong botante ng Navotas at may ID mula sa City Social Welfare Development Office (CSWDO) o sa City Persons with Disability Affairs Office.

Maliban sa mga ito, makikinabang din sa programa ang mga lolo’t lola na deactivated na ang voter registration dahil sa health reasons, basta’t magpakita lamang ng senior ID.

Samantala, bukod sa ‘NavoRegalo,’ magbibigay din ang pamahalaang lungsod ng ₱10,000 cash gift sa mga Navoteño na umabot sa 100 taong gulang at ₱1,000 kada buwan.

Makapanood din ng mga pelikula nang libre sa Fisher Mall Malabon tuwing Lunes at Martes ang mga rehistradong senior citizen.
