Kaso ng fireworks-related injuries at stray bullets, nadagdagan pa

Nakapagtala ang Department of Health ng 28 karagdagang kaso ng fireworks-related injuries at biktima ng ligaw na bala.

Ayon sa DOH, umabot na sa 585 ang kabuuang bilang ng fireworks-related injuries sa bansa, na pinakamataas mula noong 2017, na nakapagtala lamang ng 469 cases.

Batay sa datos ng kagawaran, 581 sa mga kaso ay dulot ng paputok, habang ang isang kaso naman ay dahil sa “watusi” Ingestion, at tatlo ang kaso ng stray bullets.

Naitala ang pinakamaraming kaso ng fireworks-related injuries sa Metro Manila na mayroong 311 cases.

Sinundan ito ng Ilocos Region, 58 cases; Calabarzon, 47 cases; at Central Luzon na mayroong 42 cases.
