Ayungin Shoal, pinutakte ng 38 Chinese Vessels

NAMATAAN ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa paligid ng Ayungin Shoal (Second Thomas
Shoal) ang 38 Chinese vessels sa isang resupply mission nitong Biyernes sa BRP Sierra Madre.


Ayon kay PCG Spokesperson Jay Tarriela, sa pinakahuling resupply mission para sa BRP
Sierra Madre, naitala nila ang 38 Chinese vessels sa naturang lugar. Nakababahala raw ang
paulit-ulit na paggamit ng Chinese Coast Guard (CCG) ng water canon sa pribadong resupply
boat, na nagsapanganib ng buhay ng mga tripulante nto.


Idinetalye Tarriela ang bilang ng mga barkong nambu-bully sa resupply mission. Unang naitala
ang 28 barko na malamang ay kabilang sa sa Chinese maritime militia (CMM), lima mula sa
CCG, at lima pa ay mga barkong pandigma ng People’s Liberation Army-Navy.


Sinabi pa ni Tarriela, na limang barko ng CCG at anim na barkong Chinese maritime militia ang
nagsagawa ng blocking operations.

“All in all, there were 11 who actively participated in carrying out dangerous maneuvers to the
PCG vessels and also to the resupply boats,” saad ni Tarriela.


Kahit na patuloy na hina-harass, matagumpay na nagawa ang resupply mission nang
makarating ang ating mga barko sa BRP Sierra Madre.

na ang ika-125 diplomatic protest ng Pilipinas sa China magmula nang umupo si Pangulong
Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Sinabi ng ilang observers na sana, magsimula na ang trilaterial cooperation sa pagitan ng
Pilipinas, United States, at Japan para mapalayas na sa ating exclusive economic zone ang
mga tresspassers na barko ng China.
