It’s showtime, nagsimula na ang suspensyon

NAGSIMULA na kahapon, 14 October ang 12 araw na live-airing day suspension ng
programang It’s Showtime.


Ito ay nangyari matapos ipataw ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board
(MTRCB) ang 12-airing-day suspension sa programa dahil diumano sa bastos na eksena sa Isip-
Bata segment nitong ika-25 ng Hulyo.


Nagdesisyon ang pamunuan ng ABS-CBN na hindi nang iapela ang suspensyon sa Office of the
President.


Ito ay matapos magdesisyon ang pamunuan ng ABS-CBN na hindi na iapela sa Office of the
President ang desisyon ng MTRCB tungkol sa kanilang noontime show.


Mariing sinabi ng ABS-CBN na hindi raw bastos ang kontrobersyal na eksena na kung saan
papikit-pikit pa si Vice Ganda na tila nakadarama ng ecstacy, kasami si Ion Perez habang
dinidilaan ang cake icing sa daliri ng bawat isa.


Ayon pa sa ABS-CBN “Filipinos of any age bracket or social class would do this spontaneously
whether alone or in the presence of others.

Sinupla ng isang netizen ang ABS-CBN, na diumano, wala namang masama sa pagdila sa icing
sa daliri kung wala itong papikit-pikit at facial expression na nakadarama ng ecstacy o labis na
kasiyahan na nagpapahiwatig ng sexual encounter. “Kailangan pa bang i-memorize ‘yan”,
dagdag ng netizen.


Sinabi ng isa pang netizen na diumano, ang ABS-CBN lang pati na ang mga taong may distorted
moral values ang naniniwala na walang kabastusan o kalaswaan sa nasabing eksena nina Vice at
Ion. Higit na nakararaming mga matuwid na tao ang naniniwala ng opposite nito.


“Yumaman sa kabastusan si Vice Ganda”, ito’y ayon kay Chief Presidential Legal Counsel at
dating implementor ng Martial Law sa bansa, na si Juan Ponce Enrile.
