Gun permit ng maangas na driver na nanutok ng baril sa siklista, binawi ng PNP

Binawi na ng pamunuan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang gun permit ng maangas na Kia driver na nanutok at nanakit sa isang siklista makaraan ang gitgitan umano sa kalsada at nasagi ang kanyang sasakyan  na naganap sa Welcome Rotonda, Quezon City.

Base sa inilabas na pahayag ng PNP,  “The PNP, specifically the Firearms and Explosives Office has issued an order of revocation of LTOPF (license to own and permit to possess firearm) and firearms licenses against an individual who drew his firearm, loaded and pointed it towards an unarmed cyclist near Welcome Rotonda on August 8, 2023.”

Nakilala ang driver na si Wilfredo Gonzales, na kusang loob na sumuko sa tanggapan ng Quezon City Police District  (QCPD) matapos na malamang nag-viral na sa social media ang kanyang ginawa sa kalsada na kung saan sinigawan, binatukan at tinutukan pa ng baril ang isang biker na nasagi ang kanyang Kia na sasakyan.

Nag-isyu na rin ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) ng show cause order laban kay  Gonzales matapos na makita ang video at isasailalim na sa imbestigasyon ang kaso kung aalisan na rin ng lisensya ang maangas na suspek.

Hindi pa rin daw narerehistro para ngayong 2023 ang kotse ng driver na may car Plate Number  ULQ 802.

 Samantala, hindi napigilan ni Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director B/Gen Nicolas Torre III na mainis sa nag-viral na driver na kinasahan ng baril ang isang siklista.

Ayon kay BGen. Torre, binitbit din ng driver ang kanyang baril at kotse nang isurrender sa awtoridad.

Nag-viral sa social media ang panunutok ng baril  matapos na may mag-upload ng video kung saan makikita ang paglabas ng baril ng driver at paninigaw sa isang biktimang siklista na naganap noong August 8.
