Bagong trabaho sa Halal industry ng PH-Malaysia

PINURI ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez noong Huwebes ang partnership sa pagitan ng
Pilipinas at Malaysia sa industriya ng Halal, dahil ito raw ay magbubukas ng mga bagong trabaho at negosyo sa mamamayan ng dalawang bansa.


“The agreement between the Philippines and Malaysia to cooperate in this vital sector
undoubtedly signifies a significant step towards the creation of more jobs, as well as livelihood
and business prospects of our people,” ayon kay Romualdez.


Binanggit niya na umabot sa US$2.22 bilyong ang merkado ng Halal products noong 2022 at
inaasahang lalago sa US$ 4.17 bilyon sa 2028.


Idinagdag pa ni Romualdez na ang industriya ng Halal ay may malaking potensyal.

Kung magtutulungan daw ang dalawang bansa, makatutugon ito sa malawak na oportunidad sa
pagnenegosyo, na magbubukas ng daan para sa kalakalan, paglalagak ng puhunan, at trabaho.


Nangunguna ang Malaysia sa industriya ng Halal sa buong mundo. Iniaalok nito ang kanilang
karanasan at expertise para turuan ang mga kawani ng Pilipinas at opisyal ng sektor na ito,
partikular ang mga nasa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).


Binanggit din ni Romualdez House Bill No. 7118 na mag-aamyenda sa R.A. 9997 o ang National
Commission on Muslim Filipinos Act of 2009,
