₱1.4-M halaga ng shabu nasabat sa Maynila; 2 suspek, arestado

NASABAT ang mahigit ₱1.4-M halaga ng shabu sa dalawang magkahiwalay na buy-bust operation na ginawa ng pulisya sa Lungsod ng Maynila.

Unang isinagawa ang operasyon dakong alas-5:30 ng hapon noong Agosto 15 ng Sta. Ana Police Station-Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU).

Kinilala ang suspek na si Alyas Ram, 47 taong gulang at residente ng Barangay 770, Zone 84, sa Sta. Ana District ng Maynila.

Nakuha kay Ram ang 200.3 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng ₱1,362.40 at kasamang  narekober sa nasabing buy-bust operation ang marked money na ₱500 na ginamit ng otoridad sa lugar.

Sa hiwalay na operasyon ng mga otoridad sa Lanuza Street malapit sa P. Quirino Avenue sa Maynila pa rin, nasabat ang mahigit ₱136,000 na halaga ng 20 gramo ng shabu mula kay Alyas Idol, 39 taong gulang na miyembro ng “Bahala na Gang.”

Ayon sa police report, naaktuhan si Idol na nagbebenta ng shabu sa pamamagitan ng marked money habang isinasagawa ang undercover police operation.

Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya na ng pulisya sina Alyas Ram at Idol na mahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa Section 5 at 11 ng RA. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.

Sa isang pahayag sinabi ni NCRPO Regional Director na si Police Major General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. na patuloy ang kampanya ng ahensya kontra sa ilegal na droga.
Hinimok din Nartatez ang publiko na manatiling mag-ingat at ipaalam agad sa kanila ang mga kahinahinalang ilegal na aktibidad sa pinakamalapit na police station sa kanilang lugar bilang bahagi ng paglaban sa ilegal na droga.
