TILA hindi raw pinagtutuunan ng pansin ng mga kongresista ang panawagan ni
Senador Cynthia Villar na ayusin na ang magkaibang bersyon ng Senado at Kamara sa
“Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act”.


Sinabi ni Villar na noon pang Disyembre naaprubahan ng Senado ang Senate Bill No.
2432 pero tila walang panahon daw ang mga kongresista para dumalo sa pulong ng
bicameral conference committee para ayusin ang magkaibang bersyon.


“Aba naipasa na namin, ayaw mag-bicam ng House of Representatives. Nagagalit na
nga ako eh…Ayaw nilang mag-bicam eh, tinatawagan ko sila,” ayon kay Villar sa isang
radio interview.

“Baka busy na busy sa people’s initiative,” dagdag pa ng Senadora.

Ayon sa isang observer, tila nauubos ang oras ng Senado at Kamara sa bangayan dahil
sa isinusulong ng Kamara na PI o people’s initiative para amyendahan ang 1987
Constitution.
