EAT BULAGTA!


Hindi po kami sumasang-ayon sa ilang vloggers na gumagamit nito para tukuyin ang titulo ng TV program na Eat Bulaga na ginagamit ng TAPE Inc.


Ito’y kahit na halos magkasunod na ibinasura ng Intellectual Property Office (IPO) ang trademark registration ng Television and Production Exponents (TAPE), Inc. sa pangalang Eat Bulaga! at EB at ang apela nito sa Class 41.

Tumutukoy ang Class 41 sa entertainment services na wala sa nai-file na trademark application ng TAPE.


Ang Eat Bulaga! Trademark — na nakapaloob sa “Trademark Class 16, 18, 21, 25” — ay
nakarehistro bilang pagmamay-ari ng TAPE ayon sa record ng World Intellectual Property
Organization (WIPO).


May kinalaman sa “paper, leather, household utensils, at clothing/footwear/headgear” ayon sa pagkakasunod-sunod ang “Class 16, 18, 21, at 25”. Kinansela na ito ng IPO nitong Disyembre 4.

Sa kayang post sa X o Twitter, ipinaalam ni former Senate President Tito Sotto ang kaganapang ito sa madlang pipol.

Ayon sa Sa Totoo Lang ng One PH, nakarehistro na ang trademark na Eat Bulaga! kay Joey de Leon.


Ayon sa website ng WIPO website, nakarehistro na kay Jose Ma. de Leon aka Joey de Leon
ang pagmamay-ari ng Eat Bulaga! trademark— sa “Trademark Class 41″— noong Ika-22 ng
Marso sa taong ito.


Hindi pa rin ginagamit ng TVJ ang titulong Eat Bulaga! sa kanilang noontime show sa TV5 dahil siguro sa sinabi ng TAPE na patuloy nila itong gagamitin habang nasa ilalim pa ng apela sa IPO ang ownership ng trademark.
