Police major kinasuhan ng pangmamaltrato

Nasa hot water ngayon ang isang Police Major ng Las Piñas City Police Stationmatapos ireklamo ng pangmamaltrato ng ilang Philippine National Police (PNP) trainees na sumailalim sa Field Training Program (FTP) ng National Capital Region Training Center (NCRTC) na naganap sa tanggapan ng Station Community Affairs Section (SCAS) sa Las Piñas City Police Station.

Sa isinumiteng report na natanggap sa tanggapan ni Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Mark Pespes, sinabi ni Las Piñas police chief P/Col. Jaime Santos na naganap ang insidente noong October 29, 2023 sa loob ng SCAS office ng Las Piñas City Police Station na kung saan maraming police trainees mula sa Class Mahirang 2022-2023 ang umano’y pinarusahan ng opisyal dahil sa pagiging late sa late sa pag-report sa duty.

Batay sa imbestigasyon na isinagawa ni P/SMS Marsito Torreon ng Station Investigation and Detective Management Section (SIDMS) ng Las Piñas police, inatasan ng opisyal ang mga trainees na pumasok nang 8:00 ng umaga sa headquarters ng Las Piñas Police Station para sa administrative announcement at full alert status subalit marami ang hindi sumunod sa utos ng opisyal at naantala sa pagdating.

Kasabay nito, inatasan ang mga trainees na pumasok sa SCAS office para harapin ang parusa na kung saan ay labis ang ginawa ng opisyal na pinalo ang mga trainees sa katawan, maging sa ulo.

Kaya hindi nila pinaligtas ang ginawa sa kanilan ng opisyal, kaya sama-sama silang nagsampa ng kaso laban sa police official sa tanggapan ng Las Pinas City Prosecutor’s Office.

Samantala, matapos malaman ni National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. ang reklamo ay agad na pinatawag ang opisyal na ngayon ay nahaharap sa administrative case.
