MSMEs mula MisOr nakabenta ng ₱20-M sa ginanap na DTI Expo

MAHIGT 20 milyong ang kabuuang benta ng mga maliliit na negosyante o micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) mula sa lalawigan ng Misamis Oriental sa ginanap na tatlong-araw na trade exposition sa Makati City na isinaayos ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Ang nasabing benta ay hinati sa 7.5 milyong na cash at karagdagang 12.6 milyong booked sales na nagpapakitang may strong market interest sa kanilang mga produkto at serbisyo.

Dalawampu’t anim na mga exhibitors ang sumali sa nasabing trade expo mula Cagayan De Oro City at Misamis Oriental kung saan 15 sa mga ito ang naubusan ng dalang mga produkto.

Maliban sa direct sales, naisaayos pa ang 24 na purchase order at 21 institutional buyers ang nagpakita ng interes bilang kasosyo, 10 may-ari ng coffee shop at 8 resellers.

Sinabi ni DTI Regional Operations Group Assistant Secretary Leonila Baluyut na ang nasabing trade expo ay dinisenyo upang mapatibay pa ang economic integration at magbukas ng panibagong opurtunidad sa kalakalan.

“Nais nating mapalawak pa ang negosyo kung saan mula NCR (National Capital Region) dadalhin natin ito sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng ating bansa at sa darating na panahon sa buong mundo upang magbukas ng bagong mga opurtunidad sa market access, investment, at kolaburasyon,” ang pahayag ni Baluyut.

Lakip sa nasabing mga produkto ay mga processed foods tulad ng mga snack items, frozen goods, high-value commodities tulad ng niyog, cacao, coffee-based products pati na rin ng mga fashion accessories, mga gamit sa bahay at stoneware pottery.
