THE Municipality of Pateros is celebrating a wave of athletic momentum, highlighted by the men’s basketball team’s stunning elimination sweep and vibrant local youth sports programs championed by municipal leaders.
The Pateros Wild Ducks Men’s Basketball Team recently demonstrated exceptional skill and resilience by defeating the Parañaque Navy, 105–97, on Saturday to cap off the elimination round with a flawless undefeated record.
After a tightly contested match through the first three quarters, the Wild Ducks leaned on composure and determination to pull away in the final period.
Star guard Rickson Gerero powered the squad once more, claiming Best Player of the Game honors for the fourth consecutive time across four matches.
