SOUTH Asialink Finance Corporation (SAFC), a leading non-bank financial institution in the Philippines, has partnered with EastWest Bank to expand payment channels for its growing customer base nationwide.

Through EastWest’s Bills Collect facility, SAFC customers can now settle their cash and check payments over the counter across 392 EastWest branches or digitally via EastWest Online.

Payments processed through these channels are directly credited to SAFC’s designated account, supported by a real-time online monitoring portal for collection tracking and consolidated reporting.

“Our customers require payment options that fit how they operate. Whether that means walking into a nearby bank branch or settling payment online after business hours, EastWest Bank’s facility gives them that reach,” said SAFC President and CEO Maricel D. Dejongoy, emphasizing that the company’s payment infrastructure must keep pace with its rapid branch network expansion.

Ruth G. Co, Sector 1 Head of EastWest Bank’s Corporate Banking Group, expressed support for the initiative, noting that the bank’s facilities will ensure efficient collection processing regardless of borrower location.

In addition to expanding collection channels, SAFC has adopted EastWest’s BIZENTERPRISE platform—a web-based solution intended to streamline check processing and optimize payment management operations.

Key executives present at the signing included SAFC Chief Operating Officer Azenith S. Cabrera and Chief Finance Officer Angel O. Tejuco, alongside EastWest Branch Banking Group Division Head Gemma C. Lacambra and Cash Management Sales Head Jose Giovanni T. Cruz.

Operating for over two decades with approximately 100 branches nationwide, SAFC provides financing solutions tailored to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and individual borrowers across the country.
