Pasaway na mga car dealer, importer lagot sa LTO

PAPATAWAN na ng mas mabigat na kaparusahan ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang pasaway na mga car dealer at importer kapag nasangkot ang mga ito sa ilegal na mga gawain pangunahin na ang may kinalaman sa pagrerehistro ng sasakyan.

Ito ang inihayag ni LTO Chief Atty. Vigor Mendoza II na inaprubahan ni Secretary Jaime Bautista ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) na kung saan matinding parusa ang mararanasan ng mga ito katulad na lamang ng pagsasampa ng kaso, tatanggalan ng akreditasyon at permit.

Kasama rin dito ang mga manufacturers, assemblers, importers, rebuilders, dealers at iba pang negosyo na otorisado ng kagawaran na mag-import ng sasakyan.

Kung dati ay simpleng suspensyon lamang ang inaabot, ngayon ay mas matindi na upang sundin ng mga ito ang mga batas gayundin ang kinakailangang mga regulasyon sa pagrerehistro ng sasakyan.

Matatandaan na nakapasok sa bansa ang dalawang Bugatti Chiron na hindi dumaan sa tamang proseso at naging dahilan na kailangan pang pag-aralan at paigtingin ang pagpapatupad ng mga polisiya at isaayos ang parusa sa mga lalabag.
