Zubiri, ayaw pirmahan, subpoena para kay Quiboloy?

IDINIIN ni Senate deputy minority leader Risa Hontiveros kahapon na dapat nang pirmahan ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri ang subpoena para kay Pastor Quiboloy.


Ang subpoena ay nilabas ng Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality para sa lider ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Nilinaw ni Hontiveros na noong pang Peb. 6 ipinadala ang letter-request para aprobahan ni Zubiri.


“Kung bakit hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa napipirmahan iyon, hindi ko maipaliwanag. Mas maigi po, kay Senate President ninyo na lamang po itanong,” paliwanag ni Hontiveros.


Sinabi ng senadora na nagpaliwanag na sa kanya si Zubiri, pero ayaw niyang
inilahad kung ano ang sinabi ng Senate President.

“Halos walang paliwanag na kaya kong tanggapin, dahil kumabaga presumption of regularity lang eh na kapag hindi pinaunlakan ang isang imbitasyon, in this case, dalawang imbitasyon, ang susunod na hakbang na puwedeng gawin ng komite ay yung subpoena,” dagdag pa ni Hontiveros.


Nagsagawa na raw ng dalawang hearing ang komite sa mga reklamong inihain laban kay Quiboloy, kasama rito ang seksuwal at pisikal na pang-aabuso, pati na human trafficking. Parehong hindi nagpakita si Quiboloy sa dalawang hearing.


Matatandaang dalawang babaing Uktranian na dating miyembro ni Quiboloy ang tumestigo at sinabing ginawa raw silang sex slaves ng lider. Isang Pilipina rin ang gumawa ng ganitong alegasyon.
