178 PRC ambulance, alerto sa pagsalubong sa Bagong Taon

Nakaalerto simula kahapon, Disyembre 31, ang 178 na ambulansya at emergency personnel ng Philippine Red Cross (PRC) habang nagsisimula ang countdown sa 2024.


Sinabi ni PRC Chair Dick Gordon na manatiling maingat para maing ligtas ang pagsalubong sa Bagong Taon.


Ani Gordon, nakaposisyon daw ang 178 na ambulansya at emergency personnel ng Red Cross sa strategic na lugar para tiyakin na kaagad maibibigay ang agarang tulong-medikal kapag may mga nabiktima ng paputok, lasing na driver, at iba pang emergencies.


Inaasahan daw ng PRC na madaragdagan pa ang mahigit 115 na nabiktima ng paputok, kaya nila ginawa ang pagkilos na ito.

Mahalaga raw ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa, dagdag pa ni Gordon.


“Let us welcome 2024 with gratitude and optimism, and celebrate with discipline by avoiding risky ways of making the year=end like driving when intoxicated,” aniya pa.


Samantala, sinabi ng Department of Health (DoH) na dapat magsilbing aral sa mga bata, lalo na sa mga magulang ang sinapit ng isang apat-na-taong bata sa Central Luzon na naputulan ng limang daliri sa kanyang kanang kamay matapos sindihan ang paputok na “dart bomb” kahapon.


Nasa huli raw talaga ang pagsisisi, ayon kay DOH Undersecretary Eric Tayag.
