Kaunaunahang ‘Gender Bond’ sinuportahan ng ADB

SINABI ng Asian Development Bank (ADB) na sinusuportahan nito, sa pamamagitan ng tulong-
teknikal ang kaunaunahang gender bond ng isang NGO o non-governmental organization.


Inaasahang makalilikom ang ASA Philippines Foundation, Inc. (ASA Phils.) – ang benepisyaryo ng
gender bond – ng P5 bilyon sa loob ng limang taon, simula Hulyo 5.


Ayon kay ASA Phils. President at CEO Kamrul Tarafder na ang halagang malilikom ay gagamitin para mapahusay ang pagtulong sa mga babaing entrepreneur sa bansa, para sa kanilang maliliit na negosyo, upang mapabuti ang kalidad ng kanilang buhay.
