ALS graduate, 1 pa huli sa buy-bust sa Pasig

SINAYANG lang ng isang Alternative Learning System (ALS) graduate ang pagkakataon na ibinigay ng pamahalaan upang makapagpatuloy sa pag-aaral at magkaroon ng trabaho at maayos na buhay nang mahuli ito kasama ng isa pa sa ikinasang buy-bust operation.

Sa ulat na tinanggap ni PCol. Hendrix Mangaldan, chief of police ng Pasig City, kinilala ang suspek na si alyas “Jonaid,” 32 anyos, kabilang sa high value individual (HVI), may asawa, ALS graduate at residente ng Brgy. Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.

Sinabi ni PCol. Mangaldan na matapos ang patiunang imbestigasyon at patuloyang pagmamanman, kasama sa naaresto si alyas “Tutoy,” 33, walang asawa, vendor at residente ng Tanay, Rizal kung saan nakuha sa kanila ang pinaghihinalaang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P408,000.

Ayon pa sa chief of police ng Pasig City, hindi na nakapalag pa ang dalawa nang arestuhin ito ng mga operatiba ng Pasig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) dakong alas-11 ng umaga noong Marso 22, 2025.

Idinagdag pa ni Mangaldan na kasama sa nasabing buy-bust ops sa Villa Monique Compound, Brgy. Pinagbuhatan ang Pasig City Anti-Drug Abuse Office kung saan nakuha sa mga suspek ang 17 piraso ng plastic sachet ng pinaghihinalaang iligal na droga, buy-bust money at iba pang paraphernalia.

Kasalukuyang nasa custodial facility ng Pasig PNP ang dalawang suspek habang inihahanda ang kasong isasampa sa kanila na paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11, Article II ng R.A. No. 9165 o mas kilala sa tawag na “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
