Asset ng mga banko sa Pilipinas nasa ₱29-T na

DAHIL sa pagtaas ng lending at paglipat sa pamumuhunan sa government securities, umabot na sa 29 trilyong ang kabuuang asset ng lahat ng bangko sa bansa, ayon sa paunang datos mula sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

Batay sa record, may 8.3 porsyentong pagtaas mula 26.95 trilyon sa katapusan ng Pebrero kung ihahambi ng sa nakaraang taon.

Ang nasabing mga asset ay pangunahin ng mga deposito, loan, investment, kasama na ang cash, balance mula sa ibang mga bangko, interbank loans receivable (IBL), at reverse repurchase (RRP) agreements na may neto na sa credit loss provisions.

Nitong Pebrero 2026 lamang, ang total ng loan portfolio sa banking sector (kasama na ang IBL at RRP) ay tumaas ng 9.5 porsyento sa halagang 16.08 trilyon mula 14.68 trilyon ng kaparehong mga buwan noong nakaraang taon.
