IBINASURA ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) ang inihaing
motion for reconsideration ng producers ng TV show na “It’s Showtime”, na naglalayung pigilan
ang naunang desisyon nitong suspindihin ang programa ng 12 araw.
Ayon sa desisyon ng MTRCB board, “Said MRs sought relief from the Board’s ruling dated
August 17, 2023, regarding the July 25, 2023 episode of the live noontime television program
‘It’s Showtime!’ Specifically, during the show’s ‘Isip Bata’ segment, in which hosts Ryan Bang,
Vice Ganda and Ion Perez allegedly acted indecently or inappropriately in the presence of
children… The Board’s Decision dated 17 August 2023 is (hereby) affirmed.”
Maaari pang iapela ng programa ang desisyon sa Tanggapan ng Pangulo sa loob ng 15 araw,
matapos ilabas ang desisyon.
Samantala, sinabi ni Batang Maynila to its vlogger kahapon, na hindi dapat sinisisi ng mga
panatiko ng It’s Showtime and MTRCB dahil sa suspension order. Dapat sisihin aniya sina Vice
Ganda at Ion Perez dahil ang kanila raw kabastusan sa ere, na napanood ng maraming bata,
ang dahilan kung bakit nasuspindi ang programa.
